About Alan J. Fishman
Alan J. Fishman is a CFP® and former CPA who brings experience in public accounting, financial management and
insurance to his association with Yorktown Financial Group, Inc. He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College
in 1980 with an accounting degree, passed the CPA exam in 1983 and attended the Johnson School of Management
(Cornell University’s MBA program). He is also a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
Alan co-authored a book entitled, Contracts, Benefits and Practice Management for the Veterinary Profession
(2000, Priority Press, Ltd.) and has co-authored articles on retirement plans in the Journal of Accountancy.
